  • They didn’t like her. There’s no way they hired her knowing she can’t speak English. I kind have an idea how this convo went lol. I bet you that the lady has been there before

  • (English below) ¡Saludos desde Canadá! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Hello from Canada! I think both the client and the employee acted inappropriately in this case. In North America there is linguistic diversity and a little tolerance from both parties would have avoided the conflict: In the case of the employee, she seems to forget that she is working in customer service and must always have a respectful attitude (without raising her voice) towards customers, even if they do not speak Spanish. It seems that the employee understands at least 70% what the client says and she could have made a small effort to take her order in English from the menu, even if she cannot or does not want to communicate in that language. On the other hand, in the case of the client, raising her voice and, at the same time, recording a video showing the employee's face is a provocative attitude. The client forgets that although English is the "de facto" language of the United States because there is a majority that speaks it, there is no law that forces all its citizens to necessarily speak that language. The client could have accepted that the employee does not speak English and ask her to take the order anyway, indicating what she wanted on the menu, without forcing to get absolutely someone who speaks English to her. If we have a friendly and open attitude, we do not need to speak the same language to understand each other in this kind of context (I say this from my own experience here in Canada and other countries that I have visited).

  • America is being destroyed. Everyone expects us to respect their customs but they just crap on ours. We need to fight back against this by voting in the proper people.

  • As a fast food worker in Miami I can assure you that people not only do not speak English 95% of the time, but many will actually become ANGRY when you do not address them in their language. I am as a matter of fact fluent in Spanish but that's not the point. The United States is an English speaking country; a country whose constitution, national anthem, and laws are all written in ENGLISH. I would never even DREAM of going to a foreign country not knowing the language, and then demanding accommodation for my ignorance.

  • If the customer was a spanish speaking afrocuban?.The employee would have asked in English and said she didn't understand Spanish.

  • I am been speaking english for many years dealing with american customers. Before they say why you do not speaking english. Now they yell me why you have that accent. So i hate to speak english. I do understand the clerk actions.

  • Who hired this fool to work at the restaurant in the first place? If you can’t speak English then don’t work at Taco Bell

  • Lmao everybody in Hialeah speaks Spanish even los chinos en the Chinese buffet en 49st already learning Spanish

If you have a ?. Please dial 1800 UK.they will let you know where English is from..
Thank you have a good day..

  • Speaking English should be a prerequisite for any cashier job. People who are not fluent in the English language can work in the back preparing the food. If the cashier did not show up that day this person taking her place should have been more apologetic.

  • Is it possible that in this case the two workers were in fact the ones who were racist against An African American and just wanted to give her a hard time?
    Glad she got fired! Rediculous.
They could totally understand her. No franchise owner would hire workers that cannot understand enough English to take an order!

  • Why would the lady have to be fired? She may understand a little English but is probably afraid to speak. She explained that no one there spoke English so why the fuss? Some people just make trouble out of nothing. That lady could easily have translated what she wanted if she wanted that bad.

  • They still have to serve the customers but yeh i have seen this. They resort to the can not speak english only spanish thing when its late or they trying to close up the place and just do not want to serve the customer food its a lazy trick but yeh that manager got a problem on his hands lol.

  • I had an experience similar when I asked for price of something in shop lady did not speak English she pointed to me to read it of menu How she got job beyond me I was trying for over year to get into company

  • As I say to ALL RACIST…
    GTFO!!!
It doesn't matter what you do or from where you come from, if you are a RACIST…
    YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!!!
    This is AMERICA!!!
    The land of the FREE!!!

  • How the hell did they get employed in the first place??? Hialeah is America! Anyone choosing to live in the US needs to learn English!

  • bruh she should have taken the order…that's money for the business which is good!! the goal is good sales

  • So wrong ,, I speak both languages, but I’m sorry for that ,, we’re not all the same , what a shame ,

  • Did the driver
    Drive across the border?!
    Wtf?
    Trump just gain more supporters.
I am so voting for Trump 2020.

  • Alexandria Montgomery is an ALL-AMERICAN girl who speaks just English. Is that a crime? She deserved better service.

  • What if a foreign tourist doesn’t speak Spanish? They still don’t get served. Great logic – we don’t want to do business, serve you and make money. Are these employees communists? A manatee could do the job better.

  • I can understand this was not ok what this lady was doing acting like she didnt understand stand English even tho she did but the black lady saying Spanish people think they own everything that is not true

  • Lmao reminds me of this subway in hearst ontario a mainly french speaking town, i was baffled that there wasnt 1 person who worked there that even understood me

  • TOO FORCE YOUR LANGUAGE WHEN THERE IS NOOOOOO FEDERAL LAW THAT SAYS YOU HAVE TO SPEAK ENGLISH IS A MATTER OF ANGLO OPPRRESSION AND BLACK IGNORANCE . IF SOMEONE DOES NOT KNOW SPANISH HERE IN AMERICA WHERE ITS EVERWHERE AND YOU DONT SPEAK THE LANGUAGE OF THE MAJORITY WHICH IN THIS CASE MIAMI AS IN OTHER AMERICAN CITIES WHERE SPANISH IS DOMINANT YOU SHUT UP AND LEARN SPANISH AND STOP WITH YOUR GHETTO AND TRAILER PARK ATTITUDE . JUST ACCULTURATE . SE HABLA ESPAÑOL!!!

  • It’s obvious that the Taco 🌮 Bell 🛎 lady is a racist she clearly understood the black woman a lot of latinos especially white Cubans do not like blacks there’s a lot of Cubans in Miami and a lot of them do not like blacks and r racist towards them

  • Hahahahaha how do you like it's when the shoe is on the other foot???
people who are Spanish get yelled at for speaking Spanish because they're here in America and not speaking English… Even if they're citizens.. how does it feel…..
