For today’s video, we’re going to be talking about the most beautiful places in the world. And I’ve got to say putting this list together was near impossible because there’s so many beautiful places. The Jetsetter team sat down in a room, I
think we took about four hours, and came up with this list and I just want to run through five of my favorites. So these are in no particular order, but
we’re going to start with Jaipur which is the capital city of Rajasthan in India. I’ve got to say, no trip to India should be without a stop here. Jaipur is
absolutely breathtaking. It’s named the “Pink City” after its rose-colored
sandstone buildings that are just awe-inspiring. I mean, I have never seen a
sight like this. There’s so much to explore in Jaipur and one of the main sites that you don’t want to miss is the Royal City Palace. It’s this huge complex full of courtyards, gorgeous wide avenues, pavilions, and beautiful gardens. After you’ve checked out the Royal City Palace, I highly recommend exploring all the different markets in Jaipur. One of my favorites is the Johari Bazaar where you’ll see all types of beautiful handcrafted jewelry. The next place on our list comes as no
surprise. It’s Santorini, Greece. And you’ve seen all the images that don’t even do it justice. The beautiful white-washed iconic buildings, the blue dome monastery, the gorgeous water views… You can’t go wrong here. If you’re looking to capture
the absolute best vista, go to the hilltop town of Oia and you’ll see the
most incredible sunset. What makes Santorini so special is because it’s a volcanic island, you’ve got red-sand beaches and black-pebble beaches which
is pretty unique. Santorini is great in summer but it is their high season so you’re going to find a lot of crowds. If you’re looking for a quieter time, I
definitely recommend going in September. It’s a fantastic time of year when the
sun is still shining and everything’s still open. Up next is the Grand Canyon and I’m sure a lot of you are familiar with the Grand Canyon. It’s one of the seven natural wonders of the world and a real nature’s paradise. Especially for the adventure traveler,
there’s so much to do here. You’ve got hiking, biking, you can take a
Jeep tour—really whatever suits your preference. What I love most about the Grand Canyon
is it suits every type of traveler. It attracts families. You can go
solo. You can go as a couple and make it a romantic escape. One
last thing: don’t miss the trek to Havasu Falls. It’s a gorgeous waterfall and well worth it. So we’re going to go now from the U.S. all
the way to New Zealand. New Zealand is one of the most beautiful
countries I have ever seen. Yes, it’s a 24-hour flight, but it’s so worth it because once you get there you feel like you are in a fairytale. There’s so many beautiful
natural landscapes in New Zealand but I would say my favorite is Milford Sound.
It’s truly majestic. It’s a mountainous fiord that opens into the Tasman Sea and is shadowed by these sheer rock formations full of tiny waterfalls. I can’t say enough great things about New Zealand so make sure to add it to your travel wishlist. Up next is one of my favorite countries in the world: Italy. One of the most beautiful places in Italy, in my opinion, is the Amalfi Coast. I actually honeymooned here and what I did, and you should do when you go, is
to rent a car and explore all the little towns going from Amalfi, to Positano, to
Ravello, to Fiore. There’s so many great little villages to visit. So what makes Amalfi special? The endless limoncello, the scent of olive groves, the pastel-colored houses cascading over the cliffs, and the gorgeous water views. If you’re looking for a great place to stay, I can’t say enough great things about Le Sirenuse in Positano. It’s a wonderful property. It has a very boutiquey feel and a fantastic restaurant with a terrace overlooking the water. So I’m definitely biased because I’m half Italian and I’m sure you can tell how
much I love Italy, but if you haven’t been to the Amalfi Coast, you absolutely
have to make it there. Thank you for taking this tour with me around the world and if you’re looking for more beautiful places, definitely check out
the link below. We have over 20 listed there. And don’t forget to subscribe to

  • That's a really great list. The Amalfi Coast and particularly the hotel you listed there have been on my list for some time now.

Have you been to Krka National Park in Croatia? Having grown up in the American West, I never thought any forested place on the planet would ever 'wow' me. I was so wrong. If you ever manage to get the time to go to Croatia, I highly suggest taking the Adriatic Highway to Split, and then heading to Skradin to catch the ferry into the National Park. Make sure you have time to walk through the town and pick up the pomegranates and oranges that fall from the trees on to the street below. Utterly gorgeous – the kind of place that energizes you just by being there.

  • The artist in me loves this list-and I have made it to 3 already! Although I need to stay at the hotel you mentioned 😉

  • Tasmanian Sea? While talking about New Zealand you quote an Australian place name. Methinks you are not quite as expert about the subject matter as you claim.

  • Thank you, great list, I just subscribed, I'm ready to retire, I'd like to see the USA first, Open to other USA travel ideas. I'm a photographer and single, will travel alone, any suggestions on traveling alone? Thank you

  • If I may make a suggestion regarding the email subscription service. I get the Jetsetter email and I really enjoy it. It does seem to me, though, that it is a little "girl-centric", and it would be cool if you guys would highlight some things that guys might be more interested in, too. I'm the primary travel agent in our home, so I'm the only one who ever sees the email. All of this is not really so much of a complaint at all, just more of a request. You guys show me so many cool things, and then the bottom section of the email is always cosmetics, sweaters for girls, cool shoes for girls, etc. There's a lot of cool stuff for guys out there, too, so try not to overlook us. We spend loots, too. 😉

Keep up the great work, though. Love it all.
